HGV Technician
We have an exciting opportunity at Heathline to join our specialist team.
HGV Technician with an exceptional salary of OTE between £51,695 and £60,387 based on 45 hours per week with alternative Saturday mornings.
HGV technician
As an HGV Technician you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- You will be carrying out safety inspections, repairs and MOT preparations to DVSA standards
- Routine maintenance repairs to all heavy commercial vehicles
- Carry out computer diagnostics and repairs
- Complete electronic job cards and inspection sheets on tablet
- Occasional off-site repairs and maintenance

Skills and qualifications required:
- A full driving licence (Class 2 preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of various commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of computer diagnostic equipment
- Good knowledge of DVSA vehicle standards
- Able to use full electronic garage management system
- Be a fully qualified time-served fitter with experience in the industry
- Must have own tools
- Awareness of personal safety and that of others around you
Schedule
- 8am til 6pm, flexibility to cover shifts when business requires
- 45 hours a week
- Overtime available
- Every other Saturday 6am til 12pm
